Being a Vietnamese who loves the nems, I am very happy to have found the original flavor of the Vietnamese nam in the old Thai. It's really home-made nems. The best nem I have ever tried. I ordered filet de canard and it was fantastic. There is a wide range of choice for food and even for vegetarian dishes for my girlfriend too.

I found this place on TripAdvisor as one of the top rated restaurants in Sallanches and being that I love Asian (and in particular, Thai) food, I was very curious to try! It did not disappoint. The food was incredible—literally nothing was even just okay. It was all delicious. Even the kids’ menu was delicious, colorful and served with an appetizer, main dish and dessert. My husband ordered the menu of the day which also came with a dessert and it was such a delight. Our waiter was very friendly. We live about 30 minutes from Sallanches but will be making a trip back for sure. It was a little quiet for families with children, but they do offer take-away! We went on a Thursday at noon so it may be much busier on the weekend—I don’t see why it wouldn’t be, it is a pure gem!
