Just north of Salmon Arm, very easy to find, and full of excellent domestic custom meat service and wild game cutting. Also known as a deli store butcher shop. Being Swiss, we like to track down and support other Swiss business people. We always welcome an excuse to stock up on Swiss specialties. On our recent trip through Salmon Arm to Vancouver, we stocked up on Veal Bratwurst, Landjaeger, Schinken Speck, Rohess Speck, Swiss Party Roast, Pork Cordonbleu and Swiss Farmer Pork Patties. That should do us for a while! Owned and operated by Christina and Walter Ambauen, their store is Swiss-efficient at its best! Christina pulls out a freezer sample of every product, making it easy to select and build your grocery pile. Very reasonable prices I might add. Lovely couple and so far what we've tasted at home has been lovely too. You can't beat knowing where your meat is from, and it is a federally inspected shop.
I've been working with Westland Sausage for years, and it's truly one of the best butcheries of all time.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant, and I have to say, the couple running it did a fantastic job! The food was incredibly tasty, especially the speck. The service was quick, and I was very satisfied with all the portions; they were just the right size for my family. Thank you!
