El Tapeo Andaluz - Salobreña

We stopped in for beverages and a snack.Beer and a house wine. Snack was very flavorless frozen calamari rings. Meh. Skip it.

This is a great little place off the main boulevard, we've been there a couple of times and every time the service and food were great! Today we went to celebrate my Stepdads birthday and ordered off the menu, instead of just having the free tapa that comes with the drink (which have always been delicious). Two items stood out, first was the BEST Salmorejo I've ever had (Spanish tomato and garlic soup) and I've had it in more than a few places. The other was a desert that was a cake that was heavenly, absolutely heavenly. It was a chocolate type cake filled with cookies and topped with coconut. Holy cow, amazing!! Prices are very reasonable, the people who work there are the NICEST people ever, and then top it off with free wifi and air conditioning, what more could you ask for?!? This is a must visit place for when you're in the area!

Fritura mixta from the microwave, too fat, soggy and both sick after , very grumpy service, no beer from the tap cervecería???? and the bill the double amount..... Once in a lifetime experience....thxgd enough good places to go in Salobreña!
