Rio Grande - Salou

Decided to stop off for a drink as the weather was so hot.Asked the women for a pint of lager and coke she growled at me as if I was dirt,she ends up bringing me a small bottle of lager with a can of coke with glass and no ice.And then charged me 5 euro,they have even got a english flag outside and she can not understand me.Just wished I had growled back and told her were to go.AVOID.NEVER FELT SO HUMILATED.

Went here as a quick stop off for some lunch with me and 4 friends, and from the start we got the feeling the waiter didn 't want us there. We started to decide what we was going to have and I decided I wanted a cheese tomato and onion toastie so as I was ordering the waiter was VERY rude towards me and my friends. When the food arrived my meal wasn 't what I asked for I god tomoto and onion on some cold toast! When I asked for cheese he snatched my plate away and then returned with 2 slices of square cheese slapped on it and as he gave it me he dropped it down and said here at that point if my friends hadn 't started eating there meals all ready I would have left! Then when we finished asked for the bill, he brought it straight away we was working out how much we had to pay each and he was taking the money as we was trying to sort it out!! Then to top it all off as he was collecting his placemats my friends phone was on it and he pulled his mat and tipped the phone off it. I can honestly say I have never experienced anything like this! Would not recommend!!

Rio Grande isn't on the main strip but we'll worth a visit. On our 1st visit we only had a drink but we were made very welcome, the manager (didn't get her name) was very helpful with her knowledge about the area and all the wonderful food they cook. It was very quiet in the evening this maybe because people don't walk up the hill to find it,if your going to the beach (the small cove beach 8 steps down!!)you can't miss it. We went back on our final night to eat this would be the 3rd time of visiting the Rio Grande the food is outstanding. We would definitely go back.Thank you.

Lugar sencillo para una parada Buen precio y gente agradable

Un sitio agradable para estar con amigos. El dueño prepara unos mojitos excelentes. Tiene billar.
