Great service, attentive, but not too intrusive. I had the Mediterranean menu for 22E. Fresh, varied, delicious. Teens enjoyed the steak in... expressing the formule, but unfortunately the free wine had to hand over to their non-driving parents, I obliged. Veg Pizza was enjoyed. Everyone enjoyed the Crema Catalana. Small playhouse in a simple view of the dining area that helps to occupy 3-5 years old imagination. Pencils and paper for tightening. A very relaxed lunch, thank you. Would recommend for families. Accompanying service with a smile. Cons: No one wished it would be closer to where we stayed so that we could go back!
Food is absolutely excellent. We had a menu of seafood and we were very satisfied. We had more than enough and quality is remarkable. In addition, the owners are very friendly and full of facilities for babies: chair, toys, table for change and menus for them.
Visited for lunch and got a superb traditional Catalonian oven baked pizza Venetian. Also tried the the red wine they had a bottle of on the table. Served chilled which we found strange but it was very palatable and complemented the pizza perfectly. The staff...were friendly and the service good.
In June 2015, after visiting Fort de Salses in France, we had lunch at Restaurant du Fort de Salses . This is a very clean restaurant not too far from Fort de Salses. Staff were friendly efficient. We had one of the luncheon specials which...also included 1/4 quarter litre of wine, dessert coffee and all for only 10 Euros including tax. The lunch was very good. For the price it was good value when compared to other restaurants. In conclusion, we recommend this restaurant should you be in the area. Right beside the restaurant is the Hotel La Casa Nova in case you need to stay the night after visiting Fort de Salses. M.T.
There was a flyer on our car when we finished at the Fortresse, so we decided to give it a go. So glad we did! One of the best value meals for money we've had since being in France. The restaurant is set a little...back from the road and has both inside seating and a shady small terrace. We chose the terrace and the waiter was friendly and welcoming. I chose the mussels gratinees and they were generous and delicious almost a meal in themselves. I'd ordered prawns for the main and they were huuuge. And fresh and yummy. Excellent! Plenty of parking, reasonable loo.
