5th Street Grill - Salt Lake City

5 stars for the restaurant and to Chef Marjorie. She made sure all of our food was cooked to perfect. Service was excellent! Beanne and Jenna was very attentive.

It wasn't bad, it wasn't great. The rolls that came out first were nice and warm, not microwaved. They were soft and delicious. They offer three kinds of butter; regular, cinnamon and garlic. I love garlic butter so that was good. I had the steak and it was OK. A bit tough for me, but not that horrible. I asked for medium and it was closer to medium well on the outer edges. The mashed potatoes and broccoli were good. Service was awesome, very attentive and courteous. Would I come here again? Not so sure.

This is the perfect spot to go when you don't want to leave your hotel. The food is really good and service is impeccable. Thank you to Salvator your amazing hospitality!

Nothing really stood out at this place. Actually, let me take that back. We had to wait around 12 minutes for our menus, and I had to ask for them twice. Probably not the best first impression, but who's keeping track? : The restaurant itself is very classy, but service didn't really match their decor. Everyone was a little robotic, but they tried to add a little humanistic touch here and there. Did it work? Ehhhhh, not really. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, which lacked any heat at all! The chicken itself had a decent charbroiled flavor, but I couldn't get passed it missing it's main attribute! Luckily it was slightly juicy, and the cheese gave me a reason to eat a few more bites. I ordered a cheese burger and fries, the burger was cooked exactly as I wanted it, the veggies were fresh and crisp, and the fries were hearty with just the right amount of salt. I asked for a sautéed or steamed side vegetable, and they deliver with a beautiful order of steamed Brussels sprouts and carrot cut lengthwise with just the very tips of the tops left on. in other words, they were freshly and attractively prepared. Great portion size too! Very well done, thank you!
