Cafe Rio - Salt Lake City

The food is usually great but don't call in your order! The last few orders we have placed are wrong when we get there to pick it up and end up waiting longer then the walk-in line to get our food! Food would be rated higher but service brings it down.

I love Cafe Rio... And the food from this location is consistently good (I'm less than a mile from this store so I've been 30+ times in the last year). However, the low star rating has to do with service, speed, and online ordering. This location has been the worst out of them all (few issues with Bountiful as well). 1) Every time I go there is ALWAYS at least one person on the main line that should not be there. They either are extremely slow or not coordinated to juggle multiple orders. The line is consistently long and slow. 2) I have had a few encounters with impatient people. A simple question made them act as though I had told them to move a mountain. 3) Finally, I have had problems on almost every online/call-in order. They have given a few free meals because some of the mess ups were so heinous (I.e. gave us a pork burrito with pinto instead of a steak quesadilla, etc.). I have written Cafe Rio corporate and they were nice about it. Just been waiting for a change :).

We love Cafe Rio and eat here multiple times a month. Yes, they make mistakes on our orders sometimes, but I can see why. It's always jam packed with customers.

First of all, I love Cafe RioWe frequently go there and I am a big fan of their food, price and qualityBUTThis location has gone downhill.

It is hard to put into words something I find so completely satisfying all of the timeCafe Rio will forever have my heart.
