So he tried to order a chai. the owner says we don't have one. No one comes here for the chai. Why put the dinge on the menu if they don't use it?
One of the rudest, most condescending experiences I 've had at a coffee shop. Advised me I was wasting his product by ordering a cappuccino. Suggested I was being disrespectful for requesting the order to go (i had to get to a meeting). Insulted me trying to make basic conversation where are your beans from? how does siphon coffee work? etc.An extra star as the coffee was truly delicious. He clearly DOES know his craft and is excellent at it. I will never return however as someone who enjoys their craft this much should WANT to teach and educate instead of condescend and ridicule.
The owners are a talk partner, but he is an excellent brat and barista.
Simple; this owner and the woman team are some of the best bratereien in the city. the owner refuses to admit everything, but the best, in quality and presentation.
This coffee is an emotional experience. beyond the dynamic taste profile of the espressos, it filled me with literally happiness in a way that I can only describe as artistic beauty.
