Best Al Pastor tacos in town! They just need to do better letting people know when they are going to be closed! We have found the place closed 3 times now during their open hours. A voice message on their phone line would be nice.

I’m 100% literal when I say this is my favorite food. The steak burrito with green sauce is my go to. I moved away for about a year and this is the food I missed the most. So happy I get to enjoy this again. I usually just pick up from this location but when I want to eat in I go sit on the patio of the original location. While the steak is my favorite, the pastor is some of the best I’ve ever had. When friends and family come to town I always get food from Chungas.

Very good food, they have authentic Mexican salsa here. And when you dine in you get a basket of chips

Chunga's on Redwood Rd prepares and serves the best Mexican food in the Salt Lake valley. Their choicest menu item, in my opinion, is their Tacos Combo, Pork Al Pastor. They take the time to prepare the tacos with diced onions, fresh cilantro and pineapple. The side dishes, black beans and rice, consistently hit the mark and are the very best! They even include slices of cucumber which are always fresh and crispy.

Love the food! Al pastor corn quesadillas are my favorite. Drive 30 minutes to get there and it was closed early. Door sign and online info says that they are still open. They locked the door as soon as they see us walking to it with 30 minutes until closing time.
