I came here with a group for hot chocolate and treats. The hot chocolate was too hot to drink until we left and tasted less flavorful and creamy than a store bought packet of Swiss Miss. I would not recommend it. They don't have any gluten free treats (which I assumed) but those who bought food enjoyed it.I asked the staff about gluten free options. They were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They said there is gluten free bread that can be substituted on the sandwiches but there is not a separate toaster (all bread is generally toasted) and I didn't think to ask about the condiments for cross contamination. Some of the salads they said could be made gluten free. There was lots of seating and the restaurant was clean.Dietary restrictions: There are a few entrees that can be made gluten free but there is not a separate kitchen. I wouldn't recommend it for gluten/wheat allergy or celiac.
Very good food. I got a cinnamon roll out of the bakery case. ? so yummy.
We stopped for a quick breakfast. I had the All American Scrabble and .y wife had the vegi scrabke. Both were served promptly and hot. We enjoyed them . We also bought mini bunt cakes to go. They were excellent.
The manager at the Foothill location did a great job handling a difficult customer. The woman was being unreasonable, but the manager remained calm and tried to assist her. It's unfortunate that some people can be so rude. Thank you once again, Foothill Corner Bakery!
