Awesome environment with the nicest waitresses! “Bruce” was so nice. She brought a bag of chips and a doughnut to our crying toddler. The garlic burger with fries is a solid 9/10 for burgers. Get a double garlic burger with fries and split it with your friend or spouse and the food will be enough for the both of you. Fun environment with indoor and outdoor seating. Stop in and enjoy some good food. Enjoy!
I have not been here in many years. The burger was too small for the large bread bun they gave me. The garlic was so much garlic powder it tasted of raw garlic. There wasn't a anything all that good. With the new owners, they've completely renovated the place. The patios are much nicer. The garlic burger was fantastic. It was cooked properly. The bun matched. The fries you can get now were solid. They are dog friendly. The restaurant still had the old vibe that created an environment where you might talk to others around you. They finally deliver that the old restaurant promised and didn't deliver. Since I don't think of this place as a cocktail place, I don't have a problem with the license change that allows families.
There’s a crazy statistic about over 80% of business failing after two years. What does that say about a place celebrating their 70th anniversary? They have a VERY small menu. Which should tell you one thing: they know what they’re good at and they do it well. I got the single garlic burger which is actually 1&1/3 patties on a fantastic French hoagie roll. Fries are solid. But chips are too! Great bottle selection. Didn’t try a cocktail, but will next time. The coolest part? They literally met us in the parking lot and escorted us in. 10/5 stars.
It was amazing, garlic burger is huge we should have ordered a single. Staff are really friendly, and it feels like home.
