Even Stevens Sandwiches

We have always liked going here and getting the pot roast dip. Thought we’d try going to the downtown location again although last week we went and they were out of the pot roast and pork, so we went somewhere else. Well, to our surprise, they are still out of those meats. But we stayed this time and ordered some different sandwiches and guess what, they are also out of chips, but for an additional cost we could substitute a side, so I stuck with salad and my partner got tater tots. Took quite a while to get our food and the tots were cold and the cheese on both our sandwiches had already cooled. Not only that, the lettuce on my sandwich and salad was a mix of good pieces and… slime. Some of the fountain pops are also out. I don’t know what’s going on with this place, maybe it’s on its way out, but it was disgusting and we’ll never go back.

I haven't been here in years and I don't think I'll go back again after how disappointing it was today. The guys working all but ignored me so that was awkward and sucked when I first came in. Then I asked for extra pickles in lieu of the salad or chips and didn't get them. I ordered the mihami vice and the flavor was just off... The pulled pork was sour. And the bread was completely wet and soggy ? I couldn't eat any of it. I used to love this place. ?

Great spot to get some lunch, they got a meal deal with a soup and a sandwich. The tomato soup is crazy good. Especially in the winter it’s a great spot. There is enough parking in front of the restaurant
