La Fountain - Salt Lake City

The chicken fajitas burrito is probably the best burrito you'll ever eat. Also their soda machine has the best mix in the valley, so crisp and refreshing.

I didn't like t h e first time but this time was much better, they seemed yo understood clearly what we want. The coke in a bottle is a great add to your delicious Mexican meals we had shrimp tacos and smothered burritos and both were perfectly flavored and done just right!

Exactly what one might expect of a Tex/mex restaurant. No frills. Doing what they do well. Clean. Spanish music playing. Friendly staff. My grilled chicken taco salad was not over-seasoned. The chicken was perfectly seasoned with salt/pepper, and was very juicy. The lecture was crunchy and fresh. The taco shell bowl was crunchy, flaky, and fresh. The guacamole was bright green and fresh. The salsa was good and not spicy. The bottled salsa has a wonderful flavor and spice to it. The sour cream was fresh.

I have gone to La Fountain on 3300 South and 2000 East for decades. Based on the menu online my to go order should have been $26.78, I was charged $31.32, this is for 1 person to eat, no no rice beans, nochips salsa just a tostada and 2 cheese enchilada with a side/guacamole. When I called to see if I was over charged, I was given the $26.78 cost for what I ordered (while being told the menu on line was not correct, but, when getting prices on the phone the online menu was the same prices. I said I was charged $31.32, then they said oh yes that is the cost, I miscalculated and only charged for 1 corn tortilla cheese enchilada, so it is $31.32.for marginal mexican food, it costs one person $31.00?The prices on the menu should have been $26.78 which is still very pricey for this level mexican food and that order would have cost $11 $12 before restaurants restaurants increased pricing 50+ and quality and service went down by 100 .I will never go to this mexican restaurant again.

I came in for lunch and ordered the beef enchiladas with rice and beans. What a delicious meal. The fresh salsa and chips were good enough that I had to ask for seconds. My meal was so good that I decided to take my whole family in for dinner. My boys loved their burrito and tacos. My wife had the steak fajitas, and she is a picky eater. Her meal was delicious and the fajitas are huge! Kids eat free Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings! We ordered the mini churros with fried ice cream. What a great sweet treat and enough to feed all of us. The atmosphere is awesome! The entire restaurant is clean and the food is delicious! I highly recommend this place! Parking: Plenty of parking and it's close to the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: All the staff and servers were great with my young boys! Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramping leading up to the front door.
