Lola - Salt Lake City

The place has a good vibe and people who work there are awesome and friendly. Cocktail was delish. The asada is well cooked, very good. The ginger was a bit over powering along with all the oil. The shrimp tacos was also good, however the mustard seed ? was strange and also overpower with the whole dish. Too much random flavors in my opinion.

I came here spontaneously after walking around the neighborhood, unsuccessfully looking for a lunch that would fit a very specific diet. There wasn’t anything on the menu at Lola’s and they went above and beyond to cook something that I could do eat. Service is wonderful, the vibe and decor is warm and thoughtful and the food, which was prepared very simply to fit my needs, was delicious. 5 stars all around!

Absolutely amazing food, we got the watermelon salad, empana and pork tacos. They were all delicious! Great service, and super cute and cozy vibe. This restaurant would be a great date night spot or for bringing friends from out of town. This is one of my new all time favorite restaurants in SLC, I will definitely be coming back.

I’ve lived in Salt Lake for 10 years and this is literally the first time I’ve felt compelled to leave an online review. Such a cute, warm atmosphere and amazing food. Got the watermelon salad, carnitas, and the chicken empanada and everything was outstanding!

I had a late lunch here with a friend on a Saturday. We didn’t have to wait for a table and were greeted promptly. Service was good. Food seemed to take a bit for how busy they were. We ordered asada and shrimp tacos. The asada taco meat was great. The tacos were drowning in oil. The shrimp tacos were not good and shrimp was too large to eat in a taco.
