While the menus are essentially the same, we did branch out a bit beyond the chicken kebob sandwich and try the muttabak (amazing!! and the Musakhan (even better! and it was nice to sit out on their patio area out on 9th and 9th. Our service was excellent and I left with the same satisfaction that I have grown to expect from the 15th 15th over the years...
Date spot.. There's no better place to take a date than Mazza. Great food, not too wild, everything tastes great, good alcohol selection (could use little variety of darker beers)and service is taken pretty seriously. We had a minor wait time from being seated to order, but worth it, as always.
Had new years eve dinner here, looking for somewhere to wow someone? Take them here. It's different, food was flawless and staff was fun.
Mazza is a beautiful restaurant. the waiting staff was friendly and helpful and the owner even came and asked how our meal was and eating. my heavens eat it. the kartoffeln harra are one must try. the seasoned were so delicious and they were perfect with something rice. I would come back literally, only for the kartoffels and rice. the hummus was also great. one of my new favorite restaurants in slc.

Pay special attention to the lights, wall hangings, photos, and other decorations, all of which are middle eastern in origin. Mazza means a meal of multiple small dishes, and one of my favorite things to order here is the 4 side sampler which lets me try a variety of flavors. If you are willing to split your sides with multiple members of your party, sharing 2-3 of these lets you try many different delights. Don't forget to ask for Ali's special hot sauce to go...read more
