Normal Ice Cream - Salt Lake City

We became fans of this spot the very first time we tried it on a whim while searching for ice cream that wasn't from a big chain. Today, we waited nearly 45 minutes, but the staff handled the busy holiday rush flawlessly, maintaining excellent customer service throughout. The ice cream was fantastic, and it's hard to be let down by anything here. This is definitely one of the best places we've ever visited. Cheers!

This is the best soft serve I’ve ever tasted! The crafted cones are consistently delicious! Each month brings exciting new soft serve flavors to explore. I love trying the unique options like graham cracker, sourdough, and red licorice.

I typically don’t gravitate towards soft serve, but the quality and flavor combinations here are truly exceptional and delicious. While there is no indoor seating, it's a charming little place with a great atmosphere.

Don't let the odd name of this ice cream shop fool you: it's really good. We came here tonight for a sweet treat after dinner because it doesn't matter to us if it's 30 degrees out...if there's a will, there's a way for ice cream is our family motto! What we especially enjoyed about this ice cream is that most of the flavors are very subtle and natural tasting. For example, the nutella was not some dark in your face flavor, but more just a hint of it in vanilla. And the ice cream is really fluffy, for lack of a better word. Light and creamy. Our kiddo got a chocolate cone that was delicious, with more of a kiss of chocolate than anything. And we also got a vanilla-cinnamon swirl that boasted of using burlap barrel spices (which we love and have at home). Also wonderfully done. Nothing is super sweet and we appreciated that. Our only complaint is that they use these uber fancy homemade sprinkles that tasted a bit too crunchy and strange. Just use the standard stuff! Prices are fine, portions--even for the tinies--are fair, and the space has a pleasant, open vibe to it. Four stars.

Five stars for great ice cream with great vegan options at a great price! Pick your soft serve, cone or bowl, then select dips, toppings, sprinkles, etc. I got a half size and it was WAY more than I needed. Clean environment, friendly service.
