Rio Grande Cafe - Salt Lake City

The shredded pork enchilada was delightful, generously topped with sauce and cheese. The shredded pork tamale dish was also tasty but could have used more sauce, similar to the enchilada, as it was a bit on the dry side. The restaurant has a clean and pleasant interior, with attentive service and a nice atmosphere. I’ll definitely return to sample some other dishes.

The Rio Grande Cafe remains one of the top destinations for Mexican American cuisine. The ambiance is fantastic, set in a beautifully renovated firehouse. The owner has preserved numerous historic elements of the building, creating a unique atmosphere both inside and outside.

This is a fantastic restaurant. The food is consistently excellent. Tonight, I enjoyed the halibut tacos, which were accompanied by a delicious sauce. I usually order the relleno, and it's definitely one of the best I've ever tasted. The restaurant is spacious, so there's usually plenty of seating available. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentively made sure we had everything we needed.

Nachos and frozen mango margarita were both excellent!

Best queso and chips I've had! You've got to try it! Delicious tacos and burritos!
