Salt Stone - Salt Lake City

Called from hotel.. I was disconnected 3x and no one answered. Called marriott front desk several times too. NOONE HAD A CLUE. Gave up and ordered elsewhere. Waste of time 45 min waste of time trying to get service. I was so UNIMPRESSED I WILL NOT HAVE BREAKFAST HERE IN THE MORNING. Nice hotel. Terrible restaurant service. Pisses me off because I picked this hotel because it had a in house restaurant! Drove all day and wanted to relax with room service.

The fish tacos were very good, but it took a long time for us to order and get our food. There may have been ten people other than our party of four there.

Meh. Hotel food, nothing special. Couldn 't find many breakfast options on a Sunday morning downtown. The buffet was typical free spread most hotels comp their guests, but cost more than ordering same off menu plated. Should have stayed at our own hotel and had their comp-ed muffin.

Had a delightful night on the town, and found this tucked away little eatery(inside the Marriott downtown)and got in right as they opened up! Great service, gentlemen that helped were fast and professional, relaxing and quiet ambiance with a laid back feel that we we enjoyed. Chicken salad was a wonderful choice and the meal was perfect sized and tasted great! Definitely recommend if your looking for a nice spot to grab some simple dinner downtown!

I had been to this restaurant several years ago, and loved the food, so we went again. I was disappointed at the limited menu, and the servers were affable but seemed unsure about the answer to some of my questions about dairy. I would not go again. Not so different than many restaurants in hotels these days.
