Shanghai Cafe - Salt Lake City

The customer service was excellent, but I was very let down by the food.

If you're looking for authentic Chinese cuisine, this may not be the right place for you. Upon browsing the menu and seeing dishes like beef broccoli and orange chicken, it became apparent to me that this is more of an American Asian restaurant. Feeling hesitant to order traditional Chinese dishes, I opted for Singapore noodles and Thai pho instead. While I can't vouch for the authenticity of these dishes, I was mainly interested in their taste. Thankfully, the pho was delicious and I nearly finished the entire bowl of soup. However, the Singapore noodles were quite bland and lacked seasoning - we had to add soy sauce to give it more flavor.
