Stratford Proper Cafe Bistro

First time — pretty enjoyable evening meal. Just really wish they offered fountain drinks nor cans.

This is a great neighborhood restaurant. Like many restaurants, they are struggling to have enough staff. Sadly, the last few times that we have been there, the food has not been as good as it was in the past.

We've eaten here multiple times as it is in our neighborhood; the quality of the service and food seems to be sliding a bit over the last 6 months; my pulled pork sandwich was mediocre and not like what i have had in the past there; the other dishes the pasta seemed to be undercooked; my drink was very weak; the waiter was pleasant but slow to serve us; becoming harder and harder to give it another change; my wife really enjoyed her Capio de Pepe, however

Have eating there multiple times. Food can be a little up and down in tonight it was down. Had the French dip sandwich meat was undercooked and very stringy. Couldn't finish it. Service was also subpar but partially because they had some large groups and were understaffed. Overall not their best night

Service wasn’t the best. We waited an hour for our food to come out. They were really nice but it took a long time before anyone brought us drinks or food.
