I also wanted to grab lunch for a picnic, but they were quite busy and had limited sandwich options left. I ended up getting a bagel sandwich with smoked salmon, which was delicious. They offered classic cream cheese as a spread, as well as some baked goods that looked tempting, although I didn't try them. The service at the register was quick, even though there was a line. Just a heads up, there isn't a lot of parking available on their premises.
This place is full of surprises. They have a variety of locally made items, from soap to alcohol. We have visited several times and found the prices to be very reasonable.
The restaurant has a charming atmosphere, but it is expensive and does not offer wifi. I am hoping to find a place with an open terrace soon. The staff is polite, but the owner seems grumpy.
Every time we are in the village, we always check for the in-house baked broth. it's just yum, I can't describe it differently than yum.
You will be amazed at all this store has to offer. It was a great place to shop. Lots of art supplies too.
