The main course was a fillet steak between two served with chips, i.e. loading of parsley and garlic. The steak was super, cooked exactly right, and more...thanks to two. Chips were good and plentiful. All washed with beer and house wine. Very pleasant meal and the whole bill came to less that £20 1400pesos. Would it go again if there wasn't a 14-hour flight.
Had dinner here on a trip to Salta. The restaurant is huge and very busy with many local family restaurants. Not much English spoken by the staff, but very friendly and helpful so we simply manage well. We took the waiters recommended wine that... was excellent. There is a good selection of traditional Argentine dishes, all well cooked and delicious. All in all a good experience with a small price tag. Muy buen!
Service was okay, but the pasta was very poor. Agnolotti without fillings and the sauce as extra charged) was terrible.
It will help to know Spanish when you eat in this restaurant. But if you know the Spanish menu, come by. The place seems to be visited by larger groups (family of locals who order meat plates for the table. The smell of the parilla is intoxicating. You will introduce all kinds of snacks (Cubbre you pay for it). The food was delicious. Our waiter was attentive. Prices varied with some steaks that were more expensive (probably could share). Total prices are low. Wine is cheap:
Food here is delicious. Nice free appetizers and a very good asado you can share! Pretty cheap for the quality and service! Definitely recommendable.
