Long time since I visited Saltburn. Spent a lovely day there with the family. Played on beach, traditional fish and chips, lovely clean, free public loos with soap and hot water! Followed by a delightful walk in the Valley Gardens ending at the Tea Rooms with a cuppa and a scone and ice-cream of course for the children. Pleasant grassed area, plenty of seating, China cups.Perfect ending to a lovely day. The only downside is the lack of available in the area as a whole.
The service was excellent, with friendly staff and delicious food and drinks. They currently serve only one customer at a time, and guests aren't able to use the restroom or dine in, but I'm hopeful that things will return to normal next year. It's definitely a hidden gem!
We stumbled upon this gem by chance, and it felt almost magical! We were warmly welcomed, along with our dog. The pie was to die for, and the fully loaded hot chocolate topped with marshmallows and whipped cream was simply incredible. It made our day!
This is an absolutely brilliant place to stop by for a chat and a cup of tea with a friend. It’s a perfect spot to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of the world. The atmosphere is very relaxing, and they offer a wonderful selection of homemade cakes and treats that are sure to delight your taste buds. The tea is excellent, too! The staff is friendly and helpful, providing outstanding service. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic experience. It’s definitely an experience you shouldn’t miss!
