FBI Gastro GmbH - Salzburg

Slightly away from the center, but in easy walking distance from the main part of town, this delightful restaurant offers excellent food, good service and a nice ambience. Possible in good weather to eat outside which was a plus

Very nice and cozy wine bar and restaurant where you can relax and being off the crowd. We had a cold buffet of some drinks and enjoyed the service and the food very much!

We called in around 4.30 pm last Friday, tired from trekking around the sights of beautiful Salzburg on a hot afternoon. After reading comments earlier from TripAdvisor we thought it would be a pleasant place to rest and recover with good Austrian wine to assist us. The gates were open and we noticed a man and a woman sitting at a table with glasses of wine, so we assumed we were at the right place. As we came closer to the seating area, the man turned around and forcefully said to us, "We're closed", then simply turned his back on us. We then saw a woman setting up tables, so we inquired politely about opening times. She answered abrubtly, "5 o'clock" and turned away, continuing her work. We just looked at each other, backtracked to the street and made the decision that no matter what good reports people may write, if they dont have the most basic of manners, we would never bother to return! Just downright bad mannered and rude!

Great food, service and ambiance at this off the beaten path little place. Mostly locals here which will tip you off it's the place to eat and enjoy a glass of wine or two. When your done with dinner, wander back towards the kitchen and wonder at how they put out such great food for a restaurant this size.

At this friendly restaurant we had very delicious dinners for several times! The selection of menues is is a mix of mediterranian and austrian cuisine. If you are on a trip at Salzburg I would recommend flavour for having dinner!
