After chatting with the congregants for awhile we asked about any food recommendations they might have since we were told many places are...closed on Sunday. They told us about Tim's Thai-Keuche, so we decided to check it out. It's very small and definitely not geared for tourists, which we loved. But that also meant nothing was in English! Luckily a local was nice enough to help us translate parts of the menu so we could order. And then it turned out the (Thai) ladies behind the counter spoke great English too! I got the Red Curry with chicken and my wife got the cashew chicken. The curry was hot! Too hot for my wife, which was fine by me since I thought it was just right! My wife loved the cashew chicken as well. All in all reasonable prices, and delicious food off the beaten path.
The place is small, but friendly. One if the few places are open on a Sunday in Salzburg. The food is delicious and fresh supplied from the kitchen, which is in full view. The lack of contact is service, but the rest makes it.
Probably we found this small authentic Thai restaurant on the way back from the visit to Schloss Leopoldskron. We ordered Pad Thai and Tom Yum soup. Both were so delicious! We enjoyed SINGHA beer together. It is a good place to escape some time... from heavy Austrian foods.
You can either eat there or take out the food. You order at the counter, pick up the food and pay there, so it is a self-service restaurant. But they cook after your order (therefore very freshly cooked! and very good! There are vegetable meals...also. You will be satisfied with only 10 Euro incl. a drink!
On the way to the airport and hangar 7. large freshly cooked meals. there were many times. friendly and fast service.
