Cafe Europa - San Andreas

The pork schnitzel with sauerkraut was delicious and tasted just like in Austria. I initially considered getting a dessert, but the portion size was quite generous. I will definitely be returning to try their fantastic homemade meals from Eastern and Central Europe.

The food at this restaurant was mediocre, with disappointing pierogis that were small and bland. The entrees were decent, but not worth the price. I did not try the desserts. The waiter/host was one of the worst I have encountered, showing obvious disinterest in his job. He forgot our side dish of spaetzel because he did not write down our orders and was nowhere to be found during our meal. When we reminded him, he simply acknowledged his mistake without apologizing or asking if we still wanted the dish. Despite the proximity to my home and the decent entrees, I will not be returning due to the poor treatment received.

When we arrived at the restaurant, we were left waiting at the entrance for almost 10 minutes. When the host finally appeared, he rudely informed us that the kitchen was overwhelmed and it would take an hour for our food to be ready, despite the fact that the restaurant was half empty. This was despite our reservation and confirmation call earlier. We decided to leave due to the unfriendly and unprofessional behavior of the host. It was a bad experience and it seems like the restaurant staff do not want to be in the hospitality business. We will not be returning.

This is an example of a truly world class venue showcasing a little known cuisine. The service is as impeccible as the food is extraordinarily good.
