Contribuisci feedbackThis is the second visit in a row that we had poor service. It went from bad to worse and I am a Landry's member. Our server took a while before taking our drink order and he spent a lot of time talking with a nearby table. I had ordered a side salad in addition to my pot pie. We had been waiting for a while when we needed drink refills. I mentioned to the server that I preferred to have my side salad before the entree. He said he would check on it, bringing it back and saying that it had just come up. He left the table as I took a few bites, when a runner brought the entrees. Pot pies general need venting, so while eating my side salad, I broke through the crust. We I saw no steam, I put my finger in and the food was just warm, below eating temperature. I waited quite awhile for the server to come into view and again, he spent a lot of time at the same nearby table. Since he had gathered their dishes, we actually had to get his attention before walking away. I literally ate my entree as my date had finished theirs by the time mine came.Very Very disappointed. Took my desert home
We all had a great time. Took home food the the next day. Yummmm
We had to wait to be seated as the person behind the counter was on the phone and did not even acknowledge us. Finally someone else came out and sat us immediately. Our server was not very attentive. I forgot I had also wanted a salad. Had our server asked if I wanted to add a soup or salad or had he returned to check on us before our food had come out by a food runner, I would have ordered one. The server when he did stop by our table, to ask how the food was, it was very quick, that I had to stop him from leaving as he was hurrying by, to ask him for a drink refill. I asked him about the bread that I was to have the received with an Open table reservation and was told that they weren't doing any right now due to Covid, though it is on their website.We waited long time for the server to return, that I decided to get the desert to go, though I did ask him for another drink refill.Very disappointed in our service this evening, as it was our first time back since inside dining reopened due to Covid. The restaurant was very cold inside even for my date. They are also adding a surcharge due to the pandemic, which I would understand paying if we received service like the level before closing. The restaurant was not that busy being a Sunday evening after the dinner rush and a foot ball game on. Perhaps our server was in the bar area watching it
We went to celebrate my granddaughters bday and wasn’t sure how it would be due to coronavirus, but they kept everyone at safe distance and it was very pleasant to have our meal. The hostess was excellent, very nice and attentive. This was one of the best experiences at Claim Jumper I’ve had
CJ definitely has changed a lot since my high school days. I can’t remember enjoying too many trips here, but I’ve definitely had my opinion on wanting to go back changed! The filet was absolutely mouthwatering and the kids Mac and cheese was so cheesy good! Definitely going back again soon
