Our group of four ordered green curry with pig belly, yellow curry with chicken, tom kha vegetarian, and a noodle dish. The Tom Kha soup had no Galanga at all and only a small piece of lemongrass, so it was not authentic, but otherwise was delicious with lots of vegetables. The green curry was spicy as indicated on the menu and I liked it, but there was too much pig bell! I think traditional Thai cuisine has smaller quantities of meat, more than Garnish. The noodle dish was mild and good. We were disappointed that they did not have Mango with Sticky Rice for Dessert. You said Mango was out of season. The season for mango in Southern California is June-July-August, but I buy imported mango all year. The restaurant was pretty and not too loud. Since we arrived at the opening, we were glad to have a table at a small distance from others.
We had reservations 1.5 hours before closing, but it seemed daunting that our server wanted to leave early; based on their sound at the night of the service. We felt hurried and felt not welcome. In terms of food... two dishes from the menu area... have been made easy; overpriced and salty. Even with the serving of rice provided, it has not counteracted the saltiness of both dishes. Also the dishes were not served hot enough. Thai tea was good, ambience was nice, but that was it. It won't be back.
The food is authentic and has great flavor. The portions are good and plates are usually big enough to share. Great customer service. It is a little pricey, but it’s worth it due to the quality of the food.
Wonderful experience, service, and food are great. Made our 2 birthdays we were celebrating special
