JW Marriott San Antonio 18 Oaks

The dinner buffet for Mother's Day weekend was excellent, but it could have benefited from a few more Tex-Mex options.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the exceptional hostess and waitress who made our dining experience truly unforgettable. We celebrated 25 years of friendship with my best friend, who is a local San Antonio resident, and our waitress went above and beyond to make the evening special and fun for us. Thank you for the outstanding service!

The food and atmosphere were excellent, however, the service declined after we were seated. Our server seemed disinterested and neglected to bring wine glasses for the bottle we ordered. When he finally brought them, he did not pour the wine for us. He was absent throughout our meal and only appeared again to drop off the check. He failed to inquire if we wanted dessert, but when we requested it, he made the adjustment to our bill. There was no expression of gratitude from him. Although it is possible he was having a bad night, my family and I did not deserve his poor attitude. Unfortunately, I did not catch his name.

Ambiance is great, service was great but the food was average…. Chicken in quesadillas was not cooked well seemed like fake chicken. The red snapper smelled very fishy was worse the best day…tossed! Would not return for the quality/price!

Great food ! Wonderful selection at the breakfast buffet and entrees were large and delicious too. Great service as well. Wonderful experience especially for guests at this large hotel resort.
