Everything we had was amazing, the delicate mouthfuls with truffle and gold leaf were incredible. Highly recommend! Wish we weren’t living on the other side of the world.Food: 5/5
Enjoyable and aesthetic omakase presentations with perfect flavoring and variety. Simple dining arrangement and a great experience that left both of us very full.Food: 5/5
How this isn't the most popular sushi restaurant in the Bay Area is beyond me. Seriously. This is not your standard fare. Their specialty menu is just that... very special. Everything is a very delicate recipe of pairings that enhance flavor of their incredible cuts of fish. The use very tasteful balances of oils, sauces, pastes, fruit, etc. to create tastes you'd never imagined. Great for date nights where you want to share an experience. And we've been going to 10 years... always the same constant quality. And the service is phenomenal and friendly.
Simply amazing. Amazing passion for the craft and fresh ingredients. Friendly staff. I would highly recommend coming by. Leagues above any other sushi place I've been.Food: 5/5
Wow, I can't contain my excitement about this fantastic dining experience we just had at Kabuto! It's the kind of place that may not have fancy decorations or an over-the-top ambiance, but let me tell you, the food stole the show! When it comes to sushi and rolls, Kabuto knows how to impress. We were blown away by the incredible flavors and creativity on display. One piece of advice: make sure to ask your friendly waitress what's fresh that day. We lucked out and got to savor the delectable copper salmon sushi, a special treat that was only available for a limited time. It's those unique finds that make dining here truly special. Now, let's talk about the sushi itself. Each piece came in a set of two, and oh boy, were they heavenly! The toro tartare and hamachi pear were absolute standouts, bursting with mouthwatering goodness. The combination of flavors was simply divine, leaving us wanting more with every bite. But that's not all—the fired salmon roll was an absolute masterpiece. Cooked to perfection, it had a tantalizing crunch that added a delightful texture to the melt-in-your-mouth salmon. It was like a symphony of flavors dancing on our tongues!Kabuto may be a no-frills restaurant, but it's the kind of place where the food takes center stage and leaves you in awe. Trust me, you don't want to miss out on this culinary gem. So grab your friends, head over to Kabuto, and get ready for an unforgettable dining experience that will leave you craving more. Bon appétit
