Cash only at this place. Please take note. The shrimp wonton is so good ?, chicken is also tasty, same for the soup. However, the noodles is hard, need to cook more time.
First and foremost, the food here 's above average considering the area it 's in. and it 's pretty safe to say that nobody come here for their service.Well I 've been coming here most days of the week for a little while now, and I must say the ladies that work here are rather pleasant, if you can get their attention that is, most of time they 're all doing something together with the backs toward the front of the tiny dinning area, many times I seat and watch and observe just to see what can I do to politely to get their attention, I find that they offer very attentive service to only those they know or like. As I said I 've been coming here for breakfast for a while, and all I ever got was being ignored for some strange reason, there 's this taller lady who seems like the boss of everyone who 's the absolutely worst, for as long as I 've come here, I 'm always polite and respectful, and always leave generous tips, still every time I come here she either pretends she didn 't see me like seriously, how big is this place? Or when she finally have to take my order, she 'd absolutely let me know with her body language that what a pest! This morning I came in as usual, upon paying my bill, this tall lady simply shove the changes into my hand as she shuffles passed me in a mighty hurry fashion, yes I was offended by this display of disrespect from her not once but repeatedly I the past, I decided to not leave any tips because I gathered that 's not her concern at all.
Solid spot for a quick HK breakfast. The service is prompt and the food comes out hot. My family enjoys getting a rice congee, side and hk milk tea combo. Depending on which combo set you order there are different sides available. We often opt for the sticky rice, pan fried radish cakes, or Chinese donut wrapped in rice roll. Just a note if you go too early they might not have gotten their shipment of Ho fun (wide flat rice noodles). However you can always chose from their selection of vermicelli or udon noodles if you opt for a soup noodle dish. Make sure to bring cash as they do not accept cash.
My family has been coming here for over fifteen years. Even after moving out of the city, this is the only place they consistently want to go to when they visit. The food is delicious—noodle soups and congees that have a light yet deeply savory taste; dumplings bursting with flavor. What really makes this place special is the warm-hearted staff! It’s a non-fussy spot that feels very cozy. Cash only.
