Oceanaire Seafood Room - San Diego

Oceanaire is not in the j street in san diego. Unfortunately we made reservations for a special birthday dinner and when we arrived, we found out that it was not there.

We ordered oysters but never seen it. Waitress told us that he thought that somebody had already brought it. Sitting outside its getting cold, no heaters. Food is really overpricing for that place and quality. Really disappointed.

Totally understanding of the covid dining with less staff. However, food/service didn't live up to the expectations. We imagine the beautiful upstairs dining full w a full staff and a completely different experience.

I gave only 1 star for everything because the restaurant is no longer open. the problem that I had was that we called to check an hour before our reservation, voicemail still says that they are open and gives the hours of operation. very disappointed that our reservation was never canceled and we were forced to find another location on our high-time day. bad business practice safe.

Great service. wonderful menu selection. we're coming back!
