As a Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton for 14 years I would have my birthday meal and many dates at the Brigantine. It has been seven years since my last visit and they have not lost their ability to satisfy my taste buds. Absolutely enjoyable experience and will definitely revisit anytime I make it this way.
Wonderful entreés. the food was good. service was excellent.
They surely love the ambiente in this brigantine. unfortunately we did not get the best service as we were the other time we were here. the waiter was kind, but after we got our meal, we were not checked to see if we needed anything else until we were done. our suppe was not hot and we could have refilled water. do not misunderstand me, we love brigantine, this is just an evaluation for this reservation
Very disappointed. I chose this location due to its ratings not knowing dish pricing. I ordered the seared halibut with hopes of a delicious fish meal. The halibut was not fresh, white as copy paper, and barely seared. It appeared to have been precooked and just thrown on pan. The fish was extremely dry and overcooked. It was very hard to eat but I wasn’t going wait for another order. I had to force myself to eat most of it. The scallops looked good which I should’ve ordered instead.
Our server was timely to arrive at the table, courteous and checked on us throughout the meal. Food was fresh and bread delivered was oven fresh.
