Searsucker Downtown San Diego

We arrived a little early but were able to enjoy the $7 happy hour special for a glass of red wine. The wine was excellent and the bartender was great. The food was absolutely incredible. Following our server's recommendation, we began with the pickles, which were delicious. My wife ordered the scallops and I had the dry aged New York strip steak. Both dishes were outstanding. After two more glasses of house red wine, we treated ourselves to the chocolate mousse bar. It was the best meal I've had in a long time. While it was a bit pricey, it was definitely worth every penny!

I have visited this restaurant twice and both times have been fantastic thanks to the attentive staff. The food and drinks are exceptional, but it is the exceptional service from the staff that truly sets this establishment apart. You can always count on delicious food here.

This place was awesome! The drinks were incredible with great views of the Gaslamp quarter in action. Spent a few hours just taking in the experience. There motto is 'come early and stay late ' well... We did that. The fried calamari was tender-licious best

Great place with nice vibe, good food and great drinks. Service was excellent. Our main meal took a while but he waiter went beyond his means to keep us drinking and fed until our main course arrived. By then we were already full from the free appetizers. Everything was delicious. Acoustics inside are horrible however, you can hear everything and nothing at the same time. I would recommend to sit outside. Tab was pricey but experience, service and food made it worth it. Don’t drive unless you want to spend an hour looking for parking and pay more for parking than food. Don’t bring kids. Although the place is a restaurant, it’s loud music and bar scene. Can’t wait to be back soon.

Brunette hostess less than welcoming. Waiter great! Eat very moderate. Although not the blame of the restaurant, 70% of gas lamps visitors do not wear masks and go near all tables. Wouldn't return.
