It's not really a pop-up restaurant, it's not really a weinbar, it's not really a real estate agency, and it's not always open. that makes ew house excellent. remember as a private club that is open when the owners think it could be a good idea to have something wein available for friends. fortunately, we will all be their friends. many Friday and Saturday evenings, ew is opened. passanten will be more than welcomed and treated to the charming greeting of the host colm and vincent. their choices in the wee are spectacular, global and eclectic. often they have a wonderful charcuterie plate that accompany an excellent supplement to sleep and chat. the bar is elegant and the room is able to accommodate larger groups. often there are music of friends who seek a place to gather and play. this is a quiet, noble stone that is made special by its ephemeral nature. when the owners are gone for work, they are closed, but if they are interested in friends, they open up. ask for texts and they will know they are there. Remember as a friendly quarter pub serving wine. almost everyone is dragged into any other entertainment and these conversations are inevitable interesting and humorous. they do not need a secret handshake, but they must be flexible in their time schedule. it is a local gem that is worth inspecting.
If their friends had a fantastic wine taste and opened their cozy, modern living room for the community, they would be in the ew house.
I feel like this restaurant is my second home. The staff is amazing and the owners are wonderful. It's the only place that has made me feel like part of the family. And I'm not the only one who feels that way - many people keep coming back for a reason.
Awesome spot! Blue Bottle coffee in the am, fine wines in the evening, and great people all day long...
