I don 't get why they 'd put a couple vegan groceries, like beyond burger patties (no other burger fixings, just patties) for sale in a freezer. It 's cool that they have vegan tamales. The tamales are in bulk packs in the freezer and are poorly labeled pry one loose and buy it. Each costs $5.50, which seems pretty high for a frozen tamale. As for the actual food and drinks: ACA Blue: 4/10 tastes funny. Not sure if that 's because of the spirulina or I 'm just not a matcha person. Cute design though. Lentil walnut taco: 8/10 surprisingly good! And I think the tortilla, lentils and nuts together might make a whole protein. Could use a little bit of sauce or veggies. Papas rancheras with cashew crema: 5/10 spicy, but pretty bland apart from that. Revolucion street taco: 4/10 blue corn tortilla. Not sure what that is on top, pickled sliced radishes maybe? Pretty strong. Did not care for the flavor though… very disappointing. Tamales: 6/10. Thick fluffy corn dough with trace amounts of vegetables inside. A few mushroom slices in one. Thin shreds of vegetable peels in the spring one. Didn 't taste bad, but could definitely use more filling and of course, I 'm disappointed they come frozen and are so expensive. Props for them at least having some vegan options on the menu.
I visited the Broadway location for the first time this morning. The salad was fresh from the farmer's market, and the black bean and egg taco has become a new favorite of mine. The juices are a bit expensive, but they are top-notch. A big shoutout to Cynthia for her patience and excellent recommendations. I highly recommend this place.
This has become our go to for coffee for the past few days on this visit to SA. Nice space with plenty of seating, friendly baristas and great coffee.
The beverages and food at this restaurant are exceptionally good and come at a very affordable price, especially considering the specialty items they offer in the heart of downtown.
You must try the PB Jelly Açaí Bowl at this restaurant - it's the best choice! Highly recommended!
