It was very quiet when I went in just one occupied table. A quiet restaurant at 10:30 on Sunday is a big red flag. No one was at the counter and it was a few minutes before someone came forward. Where was the manager? The person who finally came to take my order seemed high school age, and she acted as if she had to work on a Sunday morning. She rested her forearm against the counter and leaned on as if she had difficulty standing without help, although she had no difficulty walking unfounded. I placed my order. containing a quarter of her highly acidified vegetable beef soup, then went to wait for my food to as well as the soup. I checked my reception and noticed rice listed under the soup, although I had not requested it and it was not listed as one of the ingredients everywhere. So went to the counter and asked why rice had been added to my soup. The checker told me that rice was added unless a customer has specifically asked for no rice. I asked why she didn't tell me that rice was an ingredient, as it is not listed anywhere. She started to glare (yes, I looked at myself, so I asked the manager. The manager turned out to be a very young brand that seemed afraid of the checker. (It was quite overlaid and acted as if SHE ran the store. I pointed to the security camera over her heads and asked the manager how long security footage was kept. The eyes of the checker were wide and the manager looked nervous, which is not a normal reaction of people who did an honest day work. He said he didn't know how long it took so I would call companies to get that answer. It does not make sense to bring problems to a manager if this manager is part of the problem. Another almost empty dining room at 10:30 on a Sunday morning is a big red flag. I should have chosen another of the many nearby restaurants. PS check the ticket. The checker doesn't know how to spell Douglas. She didn't ask how it was spun.
Scary salad. It used to be good. The chicken was too embarrassed and they didn't hear what I said. I didn't get the ranch and apparently they didn't have a ranch dressing. I said yes, not worth 9 dollars. I'll just go to HEB to get a cheaper salad with the best QUALITY!
$4.50 for this little bowl with Brisket N Mac. Taste-to-price ratio not worth it also it increases prices on breakfast Tacos
Tatyana was very nice and the manager Brittany was very professional. Plenty of room for dinner and food was delicious. We had the rancher plate, the chicken joy and small bbq chicken sandwich and chicken stripe order. They brought us a crispy sandwich that wasn't what I wanted, but it immediately replaced. Both employees were very attentive to our needs. The tables and the floor were clean, so we're toilets... we appreciate the food and the service here. Thanks... Plates on average $10 per person...
Bill Miller is a classic. Always good and consistent, not to mention affordable. Hard to beat! The cafe is more on the casual/fast food style, because they?re pretty fast. They?re breakfast tacos are great, my favorite is the marble brisket and I mix it with a potato and egg with cheese and BOOM! Also, have you heard of fried chicken and pancakes? Well, you have now! Always great and at a fraction of what you?d pay at other places.
