Denny's - San Antonio

I spent 14 hours at the office and stumbled in here exhausted and starving. The waitress was super sweet and just hilarious. She made me feel at ease and brought me a cup of coffee right away. I love the grand slam here but also love the new $2/$4/$6/$8 menu. It's perfect if you are on a budget! The food here was basic Denny's food, greasy, oily and delicious. A perfect pick me up for the drive home.

The service was excellent and the food was delicious

Our experience wasn't as good as it should've been. It was a little after 9 p.m. when we showed up. There were maybe only 3 other tables that were finishing up their meals. We sat ourselves where we were comfortable. Our orders were placed. We ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. We also placed our meal order at the same time which 1 had a salad with it. Another table ordered after us, then received their whole order before our appetizer even came out. About twenty minutes our meals came. I then started to ask about my salad and appetizer, when I was rudely cut off by the employee (I think she was the Manager) saying that she wasn't done getting our order. In what Restaurant do you Ever get the meal before the appetizer. Also the cook was not that good as my steak looked like it was old, and my potatoes were burnt. I will think twice about recommending this Restaurant.

I’m only rating this location a 1 because of the manager on duty. Our server worked up down serving several tables in her area.(she was the only server at the time) I just left at 11:11 pm, July 31st. She had a low bun, black tights, black T-shirt, and an amazing personality. I did not get her name, but Christina checked us out.The manager on duty did little to nothing to help the server with her tables. walked around doing little to no work. Managers should work as a team, not letting their servers develop stress of multiple duties on hand. Not sure what the managers name was, but she needs to do better. I hope she now recognizes that!

The service was GREAT, thank you Reyna! Food all came out exactly as ordered. All the employees were so nice, not just to customers but with one another.
