El Mirasol - San Antonio

That was a fun dinner!! Cool atmosphere, very entertaining atmosphere!! The Ribeye Steak Fajitas were damn good, but had some too many veggies on the skill. Needs more meat and less vegetables. The Queen was delicious and the Margaritas were pretty good!! Look at it! The only negative was the ambient noise. It was very loud with the great masses and very hard to hear.

I was skeptical about el mirasol. the most beautiful Tex-Mex restaurants are so a leave or a kind of bland in taste. that wasn't. the drinks are so strong that they know that the bartender does not shorten them. eating isn't awfully creatiw, but it's well done and tastes good. I will say that this place fills quickly and they should expect a hard time, a table near the evening meal without reservation. is it the best Tex-Mex food? nope, not even close, but is good enough to eat of other beautiful Tex-Mex restaurants in a city full of good choices for this type of food.

One of the best Mexican restaurant experiences we have ever had. queso flameado to begin, followed by tacos de carnitas (x2), chicken parrallida and some cheese enchiladas with queso for my young boy. the dame and I had both stones margaritas. all was top notch , 5/5 would definitely recommend!

Stop for an unplanned Friday dinner at 6p. It was overcrowded and they quoted about 45 minutes for an outdoor table, but fortunately it was within 15 minutes. Was welcomed immediately after sitting with the server, ready to take appetizers and beverage orders. They brought chips and salsa, but also ordered the Queso Flameado and Frozen Margaritas. Both came out within 5 minutes. The Queso Flameado comes with chorizo on the bottom and went well with the 2 cheeses. The drinks were great, as the fruit aromas naturally tasted and not the artificial syrup taste. They also looked great and had a nice balance of alcohol and sweetness. For the meal the 1lb Seafood Parrillada ordered to share. It was definitely a pound of tilapia, scalops, shrimps and vegetables. Everything was well cooked and carburized. Everything on the plate was great, but my favorite was the scallops. They were served with rice, beans, guacamole, salad, pico de gallo and tortillas. Had some margaritas over dinner before she finished with the churros and Coconut flan. The Churros were crispy and served with ice cream. The coconut flan was my favorite of the two. It had a good coconut flavor mixed with the caramel Custard. This was a beautiful place to sit a relaxing dinner with good food and drinks while outside.

I made a return visit to El Mirasol to meet up with friends I had not seen in years. Service was very good and patient as we all gathered. We were greeted with good chips and salsa. I ordered the salad with seafood (crab and four perfectly grilled large prawns) and an iced tea. I think my entire group was very happy with their food and the very good service.
