I get restaurants are struggling but there is no excuse for serving ‘beef medallions’ that were inedible due to gristleOn top of that when our dining companion ordered them cooked medium, they came out raw. Not undercooked, raw. After we physically had to run the waitress down ,the business made it right re the replacement meal. But the rest of the dinner was sad, tasteless, and not a repeat for us.We may have caught them on a bad night but the owner/manager never came buy and the overall vibe was they could care less. Well good luck running a business like this.
Have had two of the popular dishes so far and both have been exceptional. The first time I tried this restaurant was through takeout, and tonight my family and I went in person and had a delightful experience with our server. He greeted us with a warm smile and took care of us quickly. He was kind, gentle, and patient with my two and one-year old. He also showed us the outdoor/patio area. Will definitely visit soon. :
Celebrated a friend's birthday here! Have been here several times and food and service are always good! My friend got a free special dessert for her special day too!
I went here based on reviews a couple of days ago for my husband 's 2nd year together, and wow I was overly disappointed. First, we were served glasses that weren 't cleaned. My husband had to address that his glass had lipstick stains on it. Strike 1. The next was the appetizers. Dry bread..are you kidding me? These were left out for hours under the heat lamp. Even the fresh bread they served was dry and RANCID. Strike 2. Well at least they buttered the veggies before they threw them in the microwave. The potato wedges were overcooked, and so was the chicken. At least their frozen bag of sauce was tolerable. If I wanted to get a bag of Tyson grilled chicken, I would 've rather than paying $20 for a microwaveable meal. Sad, because the environment is gorgeous, and they make it seem fancy when all in all it 's just a microwave in their kitchen, and people who don 't know how to clean dishes properly.
Food was authentic Southern European prepared in an honest straight forward manner. I had mussels, in a sauce that was exquisite. My companion actually saved the sauce to take home. The flounder main course was cooked just right, with the potatoes so tender and flavorful that I still salivate while remembering Service was attentive, thoughtful without being overbearing. I found out Tony the bartender was my server and he would excel in ANY service field. The ambience should be very nice after dark. The patios looked very inviting.
