Goro's Sushi - San Antonio

This place is really good and perfect for those who don't like sushi but other family members do. I got the lemon pepper chicken and was great. But if you got a party bigger than 4 the restaurant says you got to make a reservation 4 hours before arrival. I don't know I haven't been here with more then 4 yet but when I have my whole family we're a party of 8 so we will see one day. Would highly recommend coming here.

The place is very nice. The outside looks old and run down in a dead parking lot but inside is nice and clean. It looks a bit dated so I guess maybe it's been theft for a while but it's clean and well taken care of. We got a Passy roll, an o-roll, a Phillip roll, and noodles with beef. A small soup and salad were provided as appetizers to each of us. I didn't care for the salad dressing but my fiance liked it. The soup mostly tasted like a well seasoned onion broth. All of the roles were very good. I really wish they had more cream cheese but otherwise they were great. We split everything up so we each got 3 pieces from each roll plus some noodles. We had plenty to take home and are both stuffed. I think they were short staffed. Service was a bit slow but they were very nice.

Goro's is absolutely my favorite restaurant in San Antonio. Their menu is loaded with many exotic dishes that are all extremely well done. The sushi is my absolute favorite but all the dishes are on point. The O Roll is the house favorite and tuna nigiri is always a winner. The whole staff is always so attentive and seem to like working there and it show in their customer service. Armando is always there and makes sure to touch base with all the tables. This is an absolute must go. Just not on days I'm there, I don't like to wait

Dined in solo and service was excellent. The portions were a good size for the price and very fresh.

Goro's is as delicious as always! There hasn't been one time they've let me down out of all the times that I've gone. Great customer service and great food!
