I had a pleasant yet somewhat mixed experience at this restaurant. A fellow food enthusiast recommended it, so I decided to give it a try. The Rising Sun cocktail was fantastic, featuring saffron—my favorite spice! It packed a wonderful array of flavors. However, I was disappointed to find that the saffron chicken dish contained no saffron at all. The mezze dishes, while small, were definitely the highlights of the meal. The homemade pita was outstanding, and the stuffed dates drizzled in an exotic chili oil nearly made me lick the plate clean. The arancini were bursting with flavor as well. I'll certainly return for another visit. The large plates are quite generous. I'm a fan of the Dady restaurants, especially those in notable locations like the museum and this one in the botanical garden. The open kitchen allows you to catch a whiff of all the dishes, but be prepared for your clothes to retain those scents for a while!
Our server Susie was incredible, and the food was delightful. We sampled the three-choice small plate, and the white cheddar-wrapped date was outstanding. The naan pita was phenomenal, and the beef kebabs were perfectly cooked as well. This restaurant is absolutely picturesque, and the beautiful gardens surrounding the area made our day even more special!
We were sitting in the patio on a Sunday evening it was warm but not too hot! Ruby was our waitress- she was just great! Good fresh and delicious!
Great experience for ambience and food. The Greek Hummus with Naan is great as an appetizer for several people or it could easily serve as a main course for one person. It 's a large serving! The restaurant bakes the Naan bread onsite. Good stuff.
