Martinez Barbacoa Y Tamales

We go every Sunday for Barbacoa, Tamales, and Carnitas. The staff are like extended family because they're always so nice and welcoming. The food is delicious. We've been going there for years! And that's because there's like four other Barbacoa places between our house and there, but we've tried them before and theyr ok but we still do the drive because the food is worth it!

I like Martínez Barbacoa,but this last time was pretty disappointed. Order the 1lb all meat barbacoa with corn tortillas. The barbacoa was dry and kind of rubbery with no flavor. I didn't pay attention when they were packing it, so am wondering if I got the in the charola. This was on Saturday 12 11 21, hmmm I paid 16.23 for dry, rubbery flavorless barbacoa...??

Two of my tamales had no pork, only masa. Also a bit dry
