Pluckers Wing - San Antonio

These are the best wings I've ever tasted! I highly recommend them!

I didn’t receive the Signature Side of Signature Sauce that I ordered. This seems to happen every time I visit the restaurant, but it's not a huge issue since the server can usually just grab it. The 10 All Flappers Combo was quite dry today; having the Signature Sauce would have made a difference in masking the dryness of the wings. The side salad is much smaller for pick-up/delivery compared to when I eat in, so it’s definitely not worth the extra $2 to substitute it. My son enjoyed the Kids Buffalo Bites, but he prefers traditional wings, which aren’t available for delivery or pick-up.

The food was quite good overall. The burger was tasty, but it was wrapped a bit too tightly, which made it somewhat steamed by the time it reached me. The kids really enjoyed the chicken bites. I do wish our tater tots had been cooked a bit longer, as they arrived resembling undercooked hash. However, these were just minor issues since the kids finished everything on their plates.

The chicken cheesesteak was different due to the queso but it was good. The wings were fried too hard and the meat was tough to chew. Great wing sauce choices though and the house chips were good as well!

As for the food, it was pretty much what I expected: cold and bland. The mozzarella sticks were the biggest letdown; I was simply looking for a regular cheese stick, not a block of cheese. It was just odd. Moving forward, I hope Pluckers can develop a more efficient system for takeout orders. You have my email and phone number, so let me know!
