Ray's Pizzeria - San Antonio

We have been coming here for 4 years, but we noticed that the pizza and the service have changed. The restaurant is still okay for a meal, but the pizza did not come out very hot or even warm.

I really enjoy this restaurant, but they got my order wrong. I had planned a lunch meeting and was looking forward to treating all the participants to a fantastic meal.

We ordered delivery through DoorDash and everything arrived quickly. I requested a shrimp and stone crab dish, which was only available at this particular restaurant.

The Penne Pasta was amazing and you could really taste the NYC flavor in the sauce. If the slices were bigger, it would be very close to true New York style pizza. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and we are very grateful to the friendly staff. There is no doubt that we will be returning for more.

I have been a loyal fan of this restaurant for years. I highly suggest trying the pie with green olives and the beef with extra sauce on top. You can thank me later for the recommendation.
