Sam's Southern Eatery - San Antonio

Had lunch with friends. Menu is perfect, something for everyone. Specially the seafood menu, everything is delicious and so many healthy options! Service was awesome Will be back definitely!

Me and my husband were greeted by the very nice and sweet waitress as soon as we walked in, we looked at menu and ordered we were very surprised at the gracious portions the catfish was very good and so was my okra and red beans and rice! We will be back

Excellent establishment!!! Also, since this past week I have enjoyed many various Wonderful dishes, always great eating at 'Sam 's Southern Eatery! ' You all check it out for sure!!! I tell no lies, or tall tales only stories to the children at Maverick Elementary in Balconies Hts., though a Seniors program at Oaisis at Morningside Ministries off of Babcock Rd. Although it has been a while, due sicknesses of the body and lots of falls this year, just wanted to let you all know about all the wonderful opportunities for seniors over 50plus at Oasis!!! Many classes and training, plus trips, do not miss out! And The Mentoring programming, which helps these children all over the city with reading, spelling, and writing... p.s., I will send a pic of Sam 's, A.S.A.P.!!!

Food is delicious, and the variety between Shrimp, Fish, burger, and chicken (grilled and fried) gives wide choices for everybody to eat what they love, and try something different each visit.

Loved this place!!! Catfish was delicious, gumbo was amazing, crabcakes were phenomenal!!! Wondering why this location has closed down, this was my go to spot.
