But seriously? Always has bones? I've eaten a lot of sushi, including plenty of unagi in Tokyo, and I've never had to deal with bones, especially not more than one! I tried two pieces, and both had bones. When I had a piece without bones, the flavor relied heavily on the eel and sauce, making the whole experience less appealing, and it ruined my appetite. While the server handled the situation well, it was certainly off-putting. I can't debone fish myself—I'm not a chef—but I expect sushi chefs to know how to properly prepare unagi. I'll definitely return to this restaurant, but I won't be ordering that roll again. Maybe I'll stick to veggie rolls instead, just in case the chef thinks salmon always has bones too!
This place is great if you're craving fresh sushi—it's truly delicious! I only ordered three rolls for myself, but they were fantastic. Although it’s a bit pricey, it’s definitely worth it!
As most people know, Sushi Zushi is a good place to go when you are looking for something sushi. The location of the stone oaks has a great service. Prices are somewhat steep and the layout of this particular restaurant is not so attractive. But unfortunately the sushi is good.
Be very very careful if you have peanut allergies. I ordered a ginger dressing salad and recieved peanut dressing. The server was unaware that there was peanut in it. I tasted it and said that this is definitely peanut and was told that there was no peanut in it and I again assured the server that it was almost pure peanut. The server returned after a little bit and told me sorry, they accidently mixed peanut in the ginger dressing. I assure you that there was 0 ginger in this dressing. Having friends and family who are deathy allergic to peanuts and experiencing this is extremely dangerous and scary. Aside from this, the food was really good. I ordered the Cosimo signature roll and it was very tasty. The hot green tea was a little pricey at $5 for about 10-12oz of tea from a bag. All in all the food and atmosphere was nice.
