Taste Of India - San Antonio

This is the best dining experience I've ever had. The butter chicken is the finest tikka masala I've tasted, and the samosas are simply delicious. Everything is perfectly seasoned. The service might not be top-notch, as there are only two people working there, so I'd rate it a B. However, the food is incredible!

Eating made my likes very upset and the huh was cold. no taste for the saag paneer, it was just soupy green stuff. the dame is extremely rude and after paying with my american express, she said they don't take it as if it were MY problem. Don't come back.

The food was fantastic. The naan was so so soft and warm that I could sleep on it. I haven't had indian food in a while, and this was incredible. Service is very fast. I can recommend this place to my friends and family. The only thing that bothers me though was the lady host who seemed aloof and serious. I felt like she didn't really know how to properly waitress, but she did an okay job for me to give her a tip.

My favorite mom pop Indian food place. The decor is basic, the service is perfunctory. The star is the food, particularly the lunch specials. The lunch menu is set, they cross off what isn't available. What is available is tasty and plentiful. The Nan (I don't know if that is spelled properly) is always good (but has dipped in quality during Covid) and I love finishing the meal off with the basic but tasty rice pudding. I never liked rice pudding before finding this restaurant.

I called to discuss the issue, and the woman I spoke to accused me of being mistaken, simply stating that it's part of their lunchtime policy not to provide full portions. There was no apology or effort made to resolve the situation. It’s disheartening because I have always enjoyed dining here, but after today's experience, I don't think I will be returning. I would recommend checking your order sizes before leaving, as I'm very disappointed.
