The Granary - San Antonio

We had made reservations for Thanksgiving week for a party of 11 on September 9th. Unfortunately, the restaurant cancelled our reservation the night before due to a private event. It would have been helpful to receive earlier notice to make alternative plans. We will be sharing our disappointing experience with others visiting San Antonio and suggest trying other restaurants in the Pearl area instead of The Granary. It would have been more considerate for the restaurant to inform all guests and remove themselves from OpenTable once they knew they would be closed for the week. The cancellation text we received was disappointing in its abrupt and generic nature.

The restaurant's menu was limited and they need to ensure that all items are in stock. Unfortunately, the Cobb salad was not available, even though it was only 2 pm on Saturday. It was unclear if the salad would be available for the rest of the weekend as no other salad options were provided.

We suggest avoiding The Granary in San Antonio's Pearl district and dining at other restaurants instead. It was disappointing that the restaurant did not notify all guests and remove the reservation from OpenTable once they knew they would be closed for the week. The cancellation message was also lacking in detail and seemed generic. Overall, poor management.

Everything about The Granary was amazing! The server was extremely attractive and had great knowledge of the menu. The food was absolutely delicious!

With a limited menu, everything should be available. The Cobb salad was not available and it was only 2 pm Saturday. Not sure what the plan was for the rest of the weekend. No other salads were offered.
