A typical night at the plaza club is dinner with family and friends that included ceasar salad, steak diane and bananas foster à flambeau teehee). Plaza club also hosts Young Professional events where the company and milage may vary. It 's located upstairs in the Frost Building downtown. It 's not really an event to get invited here for something association related, but it can get you exposure to members and staff that can help you secure a genuine membership, if that 's what you 're looking for that evening. Great view of the city that includes Hemisphere plaza and the Alamo Dome. Dinner is more familiar club food fare that you grow up with than like earth shattering world cuisine, so this is an ok place to be!
What a nice place to view beautiful San Antonio! Service is outstanding! Champagne and wine exceptional! Scallops scrumptious ! Lamb delicious and cooked to perfection! Lobster, crab, mussels and shrimp delicately simmered in creamy sauce. Risotto flavorful! A great dinning experience in panoramic setting!
Came from out of town had the steak and fish both were amazing. The people are so nice and great wine selection are reasonable prices. The space is very nice and the art work is great to view
Absolutely an awesome dining experience. Yes, the service was slow, but at a place like this, time is not a factor. Food is the focus and all was way above average. The Fried Green Tomatoes with shrimp and a remoulade dressing were beyond good. The Chateaubriand also excellent.Wow!
So I will probably get shot after this review, but I am so freaking mad right now I could scream. I dont know where to begin. First off, they brought the food out and served the women at our table....then moved on to the rest of the room totally forgeting 3 gentleman we were sitting with. After the ladies were almost done with our meal, they finally brought lunch to the rest of our table....and yep you guessed it, it was cold. They started serving coffee right around the time I finished eating. We were the first table to be served but the last to have our plates cleared. We had to reach over our dirty plates to the dessert. The finally brought the cream after they cleared our plates and we were almost done drinking our coffee. Did I mention they never brought sugar/sweetener? I admit my food was great....4-5 stars great, but their timing and service SUCKED! I would not recommend this for any corporate function, luncheon or such. $50 a person for pasta with chicken was not worth it. I much rather eat at the Petroleum Club
